The United Kingdom-based horse racing leader, Arena Racing Company (ARC), has taken full ownership of Vermantia, a technology firm recognized for its proficiency in providing content across multiple channels.

ARC views this purchase as a crucial element in its plan to become a dominant force in the horse racing industry, overseeing everything from content creation to dissemination and delivery to audiences.

The goal is to integrate Vermantia’s technology and services into ARC’s current infrastructure. Vermantia, in the meantime, will not remain stagnant – they intend to continue developing and introducing new features to their products.

A shift in leadership is underway at Vermantia. Although the company’s originator, Filippos Antonopoulos, will remain as a consultant to ARC, a fresh management team will be established. To guarantee a seamless transition, ARC is also appointing one of their own, Mark Kingston (Director of Media Technology and Production), to Vermantia’s board.

Kingston highlighted the importance of the acquisition, indicating that it showcases ARC’s dedication to becoming a frontrunner in content distribution.

Antonopoulos shared this perspective, conveying his enthusiasm about the amalgamation and the opportunity for Vermantia to utilize ARC’s assets to further strengthen its market standing.
