B90 Holdings plc, a digital marketing and management firm, has named Andrew McIver as an independent non-executive board member, taking effect immediately. This addition brings a wealth of knowledge, as McIver possesses a proven history in the lucrative gaming industry.

McIver held the position of independent non-executive chairman at Planet Win/SKS365 Malta Ltd, an Italian gaming provider, for the previous three years. Under his leadership, the company’s EBITDA substantially grew from £25 million (US$31.7 million) to £65 million. Prior to that, he served as the Group CEO of Jackpotjoy from mid-2016 to early 2018, where he guided the company’s public listing on the London Stock Exchange and its transition into an operational entity.

Beyond McIver’s appointment, B90 has also bolstered its executive team by designating Fazad Peeran as the permanent Chief Financial and M&A Development Officer. Peeran had recently been acting as a financial and M&A consultant to the firm.

These appointments come after the earlier selection of Mark Blandford, founder of Sportingbet plc, as a strategic advisor to B90.

Ronny Breivik, Executive Chairman of B90, conveyed his excitement regarding the new additions, stating that the team is keen to utilize their collective perspectives, expertise, strategic capabilities, and connections to seize prospects and propel future expansion.

An internet gaming enterprise, B90 Holdings, will soon purchase Emwys AB, a company based in Sweden that focuses on cost-per-click advertising within the online gambling sector. The transaction, revealed in July with an estimated worth of €3.6 million (roughly $4 million), is projected to be finalized by the beginning of September 2023. This purchase comes after B90 Holdings’ arrangement with Funko International earlier in July, emphasizing the company’s calculated growth strategy in the digital gaming market.
